Things I like:

Random things about me:

• I have two kids. My 3-year-old little girl is a real girly-girl. My 9-month-old is all boy.
• I teach swimming lessons a few hours a week. I like to swim.
  
• Otherwise, I am at home with my kids.
• My husband owns a bicycle shop. I like to bike.
• I live in Minnesota, which means that I only bike for about half of the year. I'm a wuss when it comes to cold weather.
  
• I cloth diaper my baby boy.
• I wear my 22-lb baby boy - my current most comfortable carrier is a mei tai that I made.
• I love to shop garage sales and thrift stores. I wish I was lucky enough to find road treasures. All I ever see on the curb are couches that have been sitting out in the rain for a few days. And they are always missing cushions.
  
• I love to cook and bake from scratch.
• I sew. Mostly home decor stuff, baby/kid stuff, and purses/totes/bags. I recently learned how to do zippers. Watch out, I will tackle the dreaded buttonhole next.
• I can knit, but can only do one stitch and can only knit things that are square or rectangular.
• My crochet skills are about the same.
• I bought my first container of Mod Podge a few weeks ago. No surface is safe. I want to decoupage it all!
• I love recycled crafts.
  
• I wish I was better at photography. Or maybe I just need to get better at Photoshop.
• I have an insanely long list of little craft projects that I want to try when I can find some spare time.
  
• I am a compulsive furniture rearranger. I am always moving things to different places or even different rooms. It drives my husband crazy because I make him move the heavy stuff.
  

My house:

• I live in an older house, built in 1945. My house is small, but charming.
• My kitchen is red, black and white with cherries as the accents.
• I am dying to redecorate my living room. I want to do blues and tans with coastal/beachy accents.
  
• My bedroom is sky blue with chocolate brown bedding. It also doubles as my crafting area.
• My bathroom is a sage green color with a blue/green striped shower curtain. It is ridiculously small.
• I'm in the process of sprucing up the sunporch. It has one yellow wall and some cheap IKEA teak furniture.
• My kids have the best rooms in the house. My mom sewed their bedding and it is absolutely adorable. My 3-year-old's room is dragonflies, ladybugs, and red gingham. My 9-month-old's room was done with a camping/outdoors theme that has lots of reds, blues, and greens.
